Debrah Rodriguez Gaspardi, private and personal chef, caterer and culinary educator, was born and raised near Los Angeles, California. From early on, Debrah was strongly influenced by the cooking skills of the most important women in her life, Debra's mother, Ruby, and grandmother Susana. Their ability to prepare a feast out of meager rations ignited Debra's gastronomic curiosity and lifelong passion for all things food.
A graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education, Debrah has worked as a professional restaurant chef and caterer, culinary educator at Williams Sonoma, and private chef to A-list celebrities. Past teachers include chef greats like Julia Child, Rick Bayless, Diana Kennedy and Mario Batali. Although having deep roots in Mexican cuisine, Debrah is a connoisseur of all types and varieties of food and can prepare anything upon request. She marvels at the ways in which food brings people together and hopes to do so for you and your guests at The Barn at Flanagan Farm.
